Castlehead Church

Castlehead Church, Paisley, Scotland. (Built 1781 as the first Relief Church in Paisley, known as Castlehead Parish Church. United with the Laigh Kirk, Paisley in 2010. Simple but dignified building with lancet windows. Interior renovated 1881. Bishop organ 1898. Graveyard has graves of Robert Tannahill (local poet), past ministers, merchants and the mass graves of the 1823 cholera epidemic. Source Sacred Scotland)

This is also the final resting place of Robert Tannahill (June 3, 1774 – May 17, 1810) a Scottish poet. Known as the 'Weaver Poet', his music and poetry is contemporaneous with that of Robert Burns. (Source Wiki)
